Beowulf Stars Voicing Video Game

October 24th, 2007 Posted in Action, News, PlayStation 3 by Will Prusik

Despite the fact that they are almost always complete flops, we’ll be seeing an action game based on the upcoming Robert Zemeckis re-telling of the classic tale of Beowulf. The one thing we can be assured that the game will deliver on is quality voice acting and character models. Anthony Hopkins, Ray Winstone and Brendan Gleeson will all be offering up their images and voices for the game. Angelina Jolie declined being in the video game so her character will probably be visibly different from the film. The combination of Zemeckis and Neil Gaiman (who helped to adapt the story for film) promises that the film will be at least decent for action and interesting visuals which should give the game at least something to work with. The game is being developed for Xbox 360, PS3, PC, PSP and mobile phones.
