GameStop Opens 5,000th Store
Mighty GameStop, the largest game retailer in North America (and the rest of the world, for that matter), has just opened its 5,000th store, in Jackson, CA. GameStop plans on opening 500 to 550 stores this year, and even more in 2008. They currently operate in 16 countries with over 44,000 employees and have revenues of over $5 billion/year.
