Magazines, Guitar-makers in Guitar Hero 3
If you didn’t already know, Guitar Hero 3 is coming out this Sunday. Just ahead of its release, Activision sent out an announcement, marking the inclusion of musical instruments and products from leading manufacturers such as Gibson, Krank, Line 6 and Ernie Ball in the game. Additionally, rock publications such as Decibel, Guitar Player, Kerrang and Paste also make appearances in the game, giving gamers the chance to see their names in headlines.
“By forging exclusive relationships with key companies in the music and consumer packaged goods industries we are able to bring an even greater depth of realism to Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock,” said Dave Anderson, sr. director of business development for Activision. “From venues like Pontiac Garage, to customized guitars from Axe, the game delivers the ultimate rock and roll experience.”
The third entry in the series comes bundled with exclusive new Gibson Les Paul model wireless controllers on the PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 versions; the PS2 version also sees a new exclusive wireless guitar based on Gibson’s Kramer. As mentioned above, the game is due out this Sunday.
