Ratchet & Clank Future Launch Marred by Glitch

October 24th, 2007 Posted in Action, Adventure, News, PlayStation 3

A minor bug in North American copies of Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, which has been shipped to stores, may prevent players from actually starting the title. The game requires players to complete a brief setup procedure that copies files from the disc to the PS3 HDD. However, an unexpected glitch in the game causes it to read the hard drive as full and refuse to install in certain conditions.

Don’t worry, though, because a solution has been found. Just add or remove about 500MB space on the hard drive and the problem will go away, according to Insomniac community manager James Stevenson.

That’s not even the right cover art!

How could something like that get past QA? That is really poor management … whoever is responsible for this product launch is going to get his head handed to him.

    And lose their job.

And he’s back! So fun to see the same old same old fanboy tacs. PS3 increasing ever more, soon passing X360, as I predicted at least a year ago. OOOh and what do you know, X360 doesn’t use the HD-DVD, oh shit, really? Because it isn’t in the core package.

Typical news again, Ratchet has a 9+ on metacritic (ofcourse gamespot had to chime in with it’s usual 7,4)

AAAAH banning me was a good thing yes, life is better without this BS site.
