EU: Rome Beta Registration Open

In a bit of an ironic announcement, Paradox Interactive sent word that the development team has opened the application process for the closed beta for Europa Universalis: Rome. The sign-up process will run through November 15.
The game, which is due out during Q2 2008, will cover the time period from the first Punic War to the start of the true Empire. Players will have access to thousands of gameplay choices ranging from country, culture, provincial and character options just to name a few.
