SOCOM Tactical Strike Gold

An announcement on the official PlayStation blog marks the gold status of SOCOM: US Navy SEALs Tactical Strike (PSP). The game is now ready for production and is on track to meet its November 6 release date.
The new portable entry in the series has been developed by Slant Six who took over the duty from Zipper Interactive. They are also working on the online-only PS3 SOCOM title, which is scheduled for release sometime next year as a downloadable title from the PlayStation Store and an in-store retail package.

I hope PS3 prices are lower when the PS3 SOCOM comes out.
