If words coming out of Will Wright’s mouth are any indication, then expect Spore to hit stores sometime within six months. The legendary designer notes that the game is “fully playable at this point” and that it is in “final testing”. He revealed this in an interview with Radio 5 Live.

“We’ve had to do a lot of testing to make sure that the game is accessible by a wide group of people”, he added.

Spore is a life-simulator, having players start as a single-celled organism and evolve into complex beings and then set off to explore the galaxy. If Wright’s words ring true, the game should be out by Spring 2008.
