Nintendo Producing 1.8 Million Wiis Per Month

…and there are still major shortages. Nintendo boss Satoru Iwata recently said that the company has increased their Wii production from 1 million to 1.8 million Wii consoles a month, and he still could not guarantee that there will be enough consoles for everyone this holiday season.

During the least three months, they shipped almost 4 million units, and over 13 million in total, which would put sales pretty much the same numbers, as the console has sold out virtually everywhere.
