October 29th, 2007 Posted in News, Xbox 360 by Rajiv Ashrafi

EA announced earlier this week that Burnout Paradise, the next installment in the combat-racing Burnout series, will hit North American stores January 22. The first next-gen entry in the series is set in the fictional Paradise City, having players roam around an open world and take on challenges available at any junction. The game is promised to set “a new standard for online social gameplay.”

Due out on PS3 and Xbox 360, impatient gamers can get a taste of Paradise this December as a playable demo will be released on both Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. The demo will feature online support and will include the new Stunt mode.
