No More Heroes in Europe

The highly anticipated action game from Goichi Suda or more popularly known as Suda 51, No More Heroes will be published in Europe by Rising Star Games. The project is being developed by Suda’s development studio Grasshopper Manufacture and is set to arrive in stores by February 2008 for the Wii.
No More Heroes tells the story of Travis Touchdown, an animé fan who lives in the fictional town of Santa Destroy, California. After an unexpected turn of events, Travis finds himself being approached by the head hunter of an assassins’ organisation. Travis is challenged to prove himself worthy by defeating ten other bloodthirsty killers – all with deep stories of their own – to make his way to the top of the assassins’ league.
The game, as expected, will make use of Wii’s unique motion-sensitive controllers to have players swing beam katanas and perform various wrestling moves. The graphics can be best described as being stylized and filled with “edgy” gameplay.
