Midway Posts $37M Q3 Loss

November 2nd, 2007 by James Hyde in Business, News, PlayStation 3

Midway has reported their third quarter financial results, and the news weren’t good. Despite revenues increasing by $6 million compared to last year, it still had loses of over $36.7 million. The biggest reason was the delay of games such as Stranglehold (which has sold over a million copies over the past two months), and BlackSite, which will be released in two weeks. But good times are in sight; BlackSite and Unreal Tournament 3 are two highly anticipated games this holiday season, and will certainly make this better in Q4 for Midway.
