The biggest video game publisher in the world, Electronic Arts, has reported a massive $195 million loss in the second quarter. Despite having Madden 08 selling over 4,5 million copies, overall sales were down by 18 percent compared to last year. In 2006 the company had a profit of $22 million in Q2, while a $195 million loss this year certainly doesn’t look good. EA said that they will do some restructuring and will possibly be closing down offices in the next two years.
