Red Orchestra Developer Signs Up For UE3

November 6th, 2007 by James Hyde in Action, Business, News, PC, Technology

Game developer/publisher Destineer, mostly known for the WW2 sim Red Orchestra, has announced that they’ll be using the Unreal Engine 3 for their upcoming project.

No other information was released about the game, but Destineer founder Peter Tamte mentioned that it’s a genre where “you wouldn’t expect UE3 to be used”. Will be interesting to see what they’re up to.

Just a minor correction to the headline for your article (http://www.digitalbattle.com/2007/11/06/red-orchestra-developer-signs-up-for-ue3/):

Destineer are not the developers of Red Orchestra - they have simply been the distributors/publishers. The Red Orchestra franchise was - and continues to be - developed and owned by Tripwire Interactive LLC.
