It feels like last year again! Microsoft today announced that Gears of War is now available for PC gamers, almost a year after being launched for the Xbox 360. However, the PC version features five new campaigns, new multiplayer modes and full Games for Windows Live support for online multiplayer sessions.

Among the new content, there are seven multiplayer maps and the Annex game mode; all new achievements to unlock; ultra-high resolution visuals, including support for DX10; five new campaigns that expand upon the story; and finally, three exclusive multiplayer maps. A new game editor will also be bundled to let players create levels.
