Sony has announced that as of tomorrow Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection will be replaced by Dark Resurrection Online on the PlayStation Network. The new version of the game adds online options to the mix, with Opti Match, Quick Match and Custom Match options. Voice chat will be supported as will friend matches and rankings. The rankings will have both a weekly category and by total. You’ll also be able to check profiles that’ll include matches played, wins, losses, quits and disconnects (helpful to avoid playing against people who quit a match just before they lose). For anyone who’s already purchased the original version and would like to add online capabilities an upgrade package will be available for about $10.
