Valve Rips Off European Steam Users

If you’re one of the many Europeans who is interested in purchasing Call of Duty 4 through Valve’s Steam service, you might reconsider. Valve charges North American users $49.99 for the game, while Europeans must pay $69.99 for the game, plus tax. Depending on which European country you live in, you might pay as much as $80-$85 for the same game that North American users pay $50 for. The declining value of the dollar might have something to do with it, but Europeans have dealt with hight game prices for years, no surprise that Valve and Activision are trying to cash in on it in digital form.

This is such a load of BS. Steam was supposed to level the playing field in terms of pricing, now we’re back where we started with all this BS regional pricing >:-(

thats stupid, you can buy the collecters edition of the game for £35 (which is what i did), why would i buy more than £35 for hte normal version, without a cd. thats probably their only shit deal they have though, every other game is cheaper than it is in the shops i think.
