Wolfenstein Movie Affected by Strike

The Hollywood writers strike isn’t boding well for TV shows - many have gone into reruns, while Heroes is getting an early season finale. It is also affecting movies, but one in particular stands out - the Wolfenstein movie.
Speaking to Sci-fi Wire, writer and director Roger Avary (Pulp Fiction, Silent Hill, Beowulf) stated that the script for the film is almost done, but that no progress will be made until the strike ends. “[I] am proud of [the script],” he said, “but everything as far as the production date and that kind of thing won’t be decided on until after all this [is] over. And I fully support the strike.”
The movie itself will be a “World War II old movie of guys who are out on a mission, but this one will have the addition of monsters and horror and a lot of craziness all mixed together,” he said. Don’t expect anything on the movie until the strike ends.

This will be a good movie, a guy that supposedly wrote good movies. The story is good, the idea is great. Shame he didn’t do the doom movie.
