Xbox 360 Getting Family Timer In December

November 7th, 2007 by James Hyde in Business, Online, Software, Xbox360

Microsoft has announced that the Xbox 360 will be getting a family timer this December. The family timer will allow parents to determine how many hours their kids can spend playing games, and when that amount is reached, the console turns itself off.

Parents will get a password protected dashboard where they can set the amount of time each day/week/month and so on. At least Microsoft will launch this after the biggest holiday season in gaming history. Clever.
