DS TV Tuner Pre-orders Overloads Website

Today the TV tuner for the Nintendo DS was up for pre-order on Nintendo Japan’s website. Very quickly there were so many people flocking to the website to order the device that for hours the servers were overloaded and many hopeful customers found themselves unable to connect. The 6,800 yen device will be shipping on the 20th and although there aren’t any plans that we know of to make this device available to the rest of the world, considering the massive numbers who bought it in Japan it’s a good bet it’d do well elsewhere.
