First Guitar Hero III Track Packs, Boss Battle Anthems

The first of presumably many downloadable track packs for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock have been announced. For your listening (and jamming) pleasure we have both the Foo Fighters and Velvet Revolver. All three songs by each artist will be the original master recordings. The Foo Fighters songs will be “The Pretender”, “This Is A Call” and “All My Life”. Velvet Revolver offers up “Messages”, “She Builds Quick Machines” and “Slither”. Both packs are already available on the Xbox Live Marketplace and will be added to the PlayStation Network by the end of the month.

Coming up later this month as well are the long-awaited Boss Battle Anthems. Along with the oh-so-appropriate classic “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” by the Charlie Daniels Band there will be new music created by Slash and Tom Morello which you an play outside of the career mode.
