Valve Offering Real Weighted Companion Cubes
One of the most popular video game characters on the internet at the moment is the Weighted Companion Cube from Valve’s Portal. People have been including this unexpected smash hit in comics, making Halloween costumes using it and just generally putting it everywhere they could find a place for it. Valve is responding to this minor obsession in the only way they know how: by making money off of it. Plush versions of the Weighted Companion Cube will soon be available in the Valve store. There’ll also be a pair suitable for hanging from a rear-view mirror.
