Three new titles were released through Wii’s Virtual Console service earlier this week, offering gamers the chance to battle against alien forces, combat evil and play volleyball.
First up is Axelay, considered to be one of the ebst 2D shooters on the SNES. Going for 800 Wii points, the game has players defend a planet against aliens and their resource-sucking ways. The next game is Blue’s Journey that has players exploring the once-beautiful planet of Raguy, using a leaf and defeating evil. This NeoGeo game is going for 900 Wii points. Finally, an addition for sports lovers: Volleyball, one of Nintendo’s early NES sports titles, has players competing in men’s and women’s volleyball for 500 Wii points.
