Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3 Announced

Namco Bandai wasted no time in announcing Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3, yet another action-fighting game based on the popular (but tired) anime series that now airs on Cartoon Network. The game is due out on PS2 during March 2008.

As expected, the game will not deviate much from the original formula, but will feature even more stages, characters and customization options over its predecessors. It is reported to include more than 20 unique stages, 40 of the “most loved and feared” characters from the series, and more.

Additionally, the title will let players relive the major events that defined the series’ story arc 1 in Heroes History Mode. Also, points can be used towards upgrading strength, defense, chakra, agility and other special abilities. There will also be the fully rendered Hidden Leaf Village and over 55 missions.
