I'm pretty sure it was Mortal Kombat 2 that was released for the Gameboy and Gameboy Color handhelds (a very poor "light" version of the arcade and console versions IMO) back in the 90s. Not very noteworthy, so I could see how it could be overlooked. I actually owned this title and thought it was a waste of money (fortunately it wasn't my money, it was a gift from my parents).
