A bit of bad news for Wii fans, as the next Wii update will take away MP3 playback support on the console. In the upcoming Wii Photo Channel update, MP3 support will be replaced by the less popular, but a bit better, AAC format. The new update, scheduled for next month, will include the Photo Channel and make it possible to customize the Wii menus with photos imported from SD cards.
