Nintendo Says No New DS For Now

Yesterday forums and news sites everywhere were abuzz with talk of a new redesigned DS having been completed. The analyst from Pacific Crest Securities and his sources have reportedly jumped the gun as Nintendo spokesmen from both the North American and UK branches of the company have said that there are no plans for a new DS any time soon. With the DS lite having been out for a relatively brief period of time I would guess that someone saw a design for a future version that we won’t be seeing any time soon.
