In its latest quarterly earnings report, Vivendi Universal announced that its games division have risen 19% compared to the same quarter (Q3) last year, reaching $315 million. Unsurprisingly, much of this was fueled by World of Warcraft, where there are now 9.3 million users, Vivendi reports. Recently Blizzard released patch 2.3, and the next expansion pack, Wrath of the Litch King, will be released early next year, which should certainly bring the subscriber level to 10 million. In July of this year, Blizzard announced that they reached the 9 million subscriber mark.
