They strive to reach the exact point where the quality curve crosses the profit curve, no more, no less. Providing more support than they do now would cause the game to bring in less profits, and so it probably will not happen except in cases where the curve shifts, such as a successful competing game arriving on the scene, in which case they may increase support to compete, or scrap 2142 entirely in favor of a product that will out-compete the new game. Now it fails everytime loading maps SP and MP at about 60 percent and goes no further. The game is unplayable unless you hack your game registry files. I should have to mess with that to fix a problem they created. I enjoyed playing it, EA patch killed another game. Farewell Battlefield 2142.
