PS3 Firmware 2.01 Released

It didn’t take long from announcement to release. Sony announced yesterday that a firmware fix for 2.0 was in the works, and has today officially released the new update, 2.01. It fixes the much talked about gameplay issues (like freezing), and has removed the feature to turn on your PS3 using the PSP, since it caused a lot of PS3s to turn on spontaneously.
