Here’s some cause for celebration. Exclusive starved PS3 owners actually potentially gained another big timed-exclusive for this 2007 holiday season. True, they already had it before, but after an unceremonious delay, Epic has been working over time to deliver on their original promise.
Officially the game is still delayed until the first quarter of 2008, but Epic’s Mark Rein has gone on record that the PS3 version is finished and has been shipped off for manufacturing. He currently believes that Midway should follow suit and will be announcing a ship date around December 10th next week.

1You PS3 owners are in for one helluva treat … there may be some issues that prevent it from getting a 9 on the PC but those issues pretty much go away when you move the interface to the console. The graphics are amazing and the gameplay is great and supposedly it is tweaked (slowed down 10%-20%) for the PS3 so you are going to have a great time. The SP campaign is pretty weak but it does serve its purpose … especially for newcomers to the game.
