star-trek-conquest-wii-cover.JPGThe ever-popular Star Trek franchise keeps getting milked for what it’s worth with the release of STAR TREK: Conquest for the WIi and PS2. Developed by Bethesda, developers of Oblivion and other awesome games, Conquest is a blend of strategy and action set in the Next Generation STAR TREK universe.

Conquest lets nerds take control of Federation, Klingon, Romulan, Dominion, Cardassian and Breen forces to have them control the galaxy, one planet at a time. As expected, the Wii remote can be used to maneuver Starships throughout the vast galaxy in the confines of a videogame.

Combat is in real-time, having players switch from a ship level tactical view to that of one on a ground (or space?) level. The Nunchuk can be used for maneuvering, with the Wii Remote used to take aim and fire.

It’s a budget title, retailing for $29.99 on the Wii and $14.99 on the PS2.
