Undertow Now Available on XBLA
One of the more fascinating XBLA projects on the horizon is finally available for download today courteous the Xbox Live Marketplace. For 800 points, a steep price, but certainly not for the content, you can expect 15-level story mode, including co-op play. The game also boasts on-line multiplayer with up to 16 people, three playable races and four upgradeable units.
These are the types of projects I’d love to see more of. It’s hard sometimes to justify paying for a title that ultimately you can find a similar flash version of free online, but Undertow is just the type of content that couldn’t be easily developed by an amateur, but doesn’t need a full retail package.
