20070115-screen-phantasystaruniverse.jpgXbox 360 owners are in for quite a ride this week, as Xbox Live has seen quite a few heavy additions to its portfolio.

First up is an expansion pack for Phantasy Star Universe, an action-RPG from Sonic Team. It weighs in at 1.9GB and offers new areas, missions, weapons, items and other stuff. The expansion is going for 1600 Microsoft points; it will also be available on the PC and PS2 as retail discs costing $39.99.

The second addition is a free demo of Blacksite: Area 51, which comes in at 990MB. This is the second demo for the game, a spiritual sequel to the David Duchovny-starring Area 51 released some time ago. The game itself is already available on PC and Xbox 360, with a PS3 version slated to hit sometime next year.
