Asteroids Deluxe Smashing into Xbox Live this Wednesday

Atari sends word that Asteroids and Asteroids Deluxe will be available as a joint download on Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday. The games have players controlling a spaceship in an asteroid field and shooting to destroy asteroids and saucers, all the while trying to avoid collision.

The games have undergone an HD visuals update as well as a “throttle monkey” mode. As stated before, it’s a joint download costing 400 Microsoft points.
