After a long buzz of rumors surrounding a possible sale of Take Two Interactive that seemed possible after a shareholder revolt, the company’s future is safe. For the time being the company will stay where it is and work on growth. According to chairman Strauss Zelnick the company will focus on building up their intellectual properties. With best-sellers like the Grand Theft Auto games and Bioshock in their corner it’s likely the company can prosper as long as they avoid further scandals.  Given the delay of Grand Theft Auto IV, it could be that take-two decided to go over the game with a fine-toothed comb and ensure there’s nothing that could spark further controversy which would hurt sales yet again.
