Darkness Within Grips Stores

November 30th, 2007 Posted in Adventure, News, PC by Rajiv Ashrafi

jypbxyhuuy.jpgStores have been gripped by the Darkness Within, a new psychological horror adventure game released by Lighthouse Interactive. Developed by Zoetrope Interactive, the game is inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft, having players solve the murder of Clark Field and face the trademark insanity and dreams presented by Lovecraftian lore.

The game employs a built-in hint system for stupid gamers, though it can be turned off by the smarter ones. It also uses an unique inventory screen, allowing players to research, combine and use clues. There’s also the oppressive, chilling atmosphere as well as the “haunting” music for those who like such things.

More information can be found on the publisher’s website.
