Phantasy Star Portable to Hit PSP
While not an entirely new game, Phantasy Star Portable is expected to hit Japanese PSPs sometime in 2008. Under development by Alfa System, Phantasy Star Portable will be recognizable to most as Phantasy Star Universe combined with the Amabition of Illuminus expansion. It will feature things like an all new single-player story mode and 4-player co op utilizing Ad-hoc mode. Where the details really lack is regarding the online capabilities of the game because as of now there is no mention of the game being online compatible.

Now this – I’ll admit is pretty cool. The idea of a 4 player co-op mode between PSP’s is pretty sweet.
The only issue I ever had with PSU was that it wasn’t worth the monthly fee. If they allow you to just connect to your friends locally for free then that is going to make one crazy fun game.
