PS3 2008 Big Titles Partially Dated

According to the Three Speech blog’s 2008 preview, we may be waiting a little longer than expected for two of the most anticipated titles for the PS3. Both Little Big Planet and Killzone 2 may be on track for September or October of next year, instead of early 2008 as previously hoped.
“From around September or October, the PS3 will move into top gear: that’s when Killzone 2 will arrive, to truly take first-person shooters into the next-gen era. And – more excitingly in my book – when LittleBigPlanet – will arrive.”
Of course, word of this comes from the semi official Three Speech Blog, so nothing is actually set in stone, but more than we once knew. The blog itself is much less specific about some other titles, but it seems like the PS3 may be very starved for early 2008 software. Grand Theft Auto IV is expected around the same time, maybe even taking up it’s October slot from one year earlier? Home should be expected later in 2008, potentially November and finally they say they have no idea when Metal Gear Solid 4 will be coming out, never promising.
The later half of 2008 sure looks good for PS3, but that doesn’t leave a whole lot of fun for the first half.
