2K Marin Announced, Next Project Rumored

2K has officially opened up their second studio called 2K Marin in the area. Which includes quite a few staff members from 2K Boston, creators of Bioshock. The only word from the office is that they will be working on new Intellectual Property and pre-existing IP’s.

Quite a few rumors are floating around about what that next project might be. While we should find out early next year before GDC, some have reported that Kev Levine with 2K Boston has been working on X-Com Series.

Which leaves 2K Marin open to work on a sequel to Bioshock. Even without Ken Levine working out of Marin, his involvement with Bioshock could still be a possibility as he gets involved with both studios.
