It seems that with some simple math our friends over at Kotaku have come to conclude that of all the Xbox 360 owners in the US, over half of them own Halo 3. While their assumption might not be too accurate it definitely gives you an idea of just how popular the Halo series has become, with 7.9 million 360s sold in the US, and 4.1 million copies of Halo 3 sold. This shouldn’t be a surprise to most considering how hyped Halo 3 was prior to release causing some to buy a 360 for the soul purpose of playing this game.

Sole is spelled like I just spelled it and not ’soul’ like you did in this article .. c’mon guys you can’t make simple errors like that and be expected to be taken seriously … spell check and then check once again for context errors.

C’mon dude, you can’t spend all your time going around correcting basic mistakes that get made in big publications all the time and expect yourself to be taken seriously.

  4. Anuban Says:

I don’t … but that one is a glaring mistake and the editors need to be more careful with that … that is all I am saying. I don’t see the harm in pointing that out.

  5. Ewoksrock Says:

There’s no harm in pointing it out, however comments like “you can’t expect to make simple mistakes like that and expect to be taken seriously” just make you come across as a condescending jerk. A simple mention of the spelling/grammar error is sufficient if you’re just trying to be helpful.
