No GTA 4 for Wii

In a conference call to investors, Take-Two executives announced that the Xbox 360 version of GTA 4 would get more downloadable content than the previously announced two. Developer Rockstar quickly sent out word that the executives were referring to the already-announced two DLC packs that are slated to appear in 2008, though one of them has been delayed into 2009, which had led to the speculation.

The executives at the conference also ruled out the possibility of seeing the game on the Wii. “There are other titles better suited to the Wii than Grand Theft Auto,” concluded the company.

In even more GTA 4 news, MCV claims that a source close to Take-Two has told them that the game will be out in the UK on April 25, though the company vehemently denies stating any release dates, saying they will announce “when [they] are ready to announce the date.”
