Three Athletes to Cover FIFA Street 3

From all the announcements that publishers put out these days, it seems that sports athletes are tomorrow’s models. Anyways, EA today sent out word that international footballers Ronaldinho, Peter Crouch and Gennaro Gattuso will be gracing the cover of FIFA Street 3, the upcoming action-arcade release in the franchise.

“FIFA Street 3 is about turning football icons into eye-popping characters through the game’s stylized art direction for an over-the-top arcade soccer experience,” said producer Joe Nickolls. “Ronaldinho, Crouch and Gattuso represent three of the different types of players available in our game and we were able to exaggerate their qualities to really create larger-than-life characters.”

The three above-mentioned athletes represent the three in-game classes: tricksters, playmakers, finishers and enforces. They offer different options on the ball with different gameplay experiences.

FIFA Street 3 will be available for the PS3, Xbox 360 and DS in February 2008.
