Teens Drink, Kill 7 Year Old
In a tragic occurrence which will sadly be misused to point out the danger of video games (instead of terrible parenting), two teenagers beat a seven year old girl to death while mimicking moves from Mortal Kombat. Sixteen year old Heather Trujillo and seventeeen year old Lamar Roberts were supposed to be babysitting Trujillo’s seven year old half-sister Zoe Garcia. Instead the two of them got drunk and proceeded to pummel her so badly she lost consciousness. After the girl awoke they sent her to bed, where she stopped breathing fifteen minutes later. This is an absolute tragedy that we can expect Senator Clinton and all her political comrades to flout as the dangers of video games, all the while ignoring the fact that these two teenagers were drinking underage, not to mention the fact that they chose to vent their alcohol-fueled aggression upon a defenseless seven year old girl. It likely doesn’t help that the teens are citing the video game as the cause behind it in the hopes of defense. We can all remember getting in trouble for something as a child and then grabbing a handy scapegoat to blame it on in the hopes of shifting some of the punishment from our shoulders can’t we?
