Next Kingdom Under Fire Title to be “Traditional”
The upcoming Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom game for the Xbox 360 takes an action-oriented approach to the original’s tactical mode. However, the developers have confirmed that the next game in the series will return to its roots.
“We are currently working on a ‘traditional’ real-time strategy sequel to The Crusaders, as well,” Blueside’s Henry Lee told 1UP.
Crusaders was the first title in the KUF series that originally debuted on the Xbox. It was created by Phantagram who went on to form Blueside. No details were disclosed on the game, though Lee did mention that he hopes to see both the games coexist as separate series, with games created in the same vein as Circle of Doom appealing to a wider audience.
