Crysis Map Pack Released

Crytek is celebrating the Holidays by giving Crysis owners a special present, a map pack for the game. The Tournament Map Pack includes five maps,

  • Power Struggle – Desolation
  • Power Struggle – Isolation
  • Power Struggle – Training
  • Instant Action – Excavation
  • Instant Action – Terminal

Also included is a Crysis holiday wallpaper, picture above. More info (and the full size wallpaper) here.

    You don’t need Vista to play Crysis. It’s both DX9 and DX10 compatible. The Cryengine 2 engine is the most incredible, amazing, jaw-dropping development I’ve ever witnessed in gaming. Period. Consoles will never touch the sheer amount of data this engine is capable of dishing out. Anyone who is skeptical of this games ability to drop your jaw simply hasn’t played it on a capable rig. It truly is the most amazing technological achievement in gaming history, and I guarantee that time will tell on that.
