No Christmas Break for Wii Shop Channel

The guys at Nintendo have a Christmas treat for Virtual Console users - three new old games! Even though it’s Christmas week, they have added Blades of Steel (NES), Donkey Kong Country 3 (SNES) and Rolling Thunder 2 (Genesis). The latter two are 800 Wii points each, with the first being 500 Wii points.Blades of Steel lets players win the MVP award, get on the covers of major sports magazines and date a beautiful model. The second game, Donkey Kong 3 is the third entry in the series, letting players revisit Donkey Kong Island and defeat the Kremlings’ new leader. It features various new characters and the series’ trademark secrets, offering high replay value. Rolling Thunder 2, the last game, has players become the member of Interpol’s titular task force and stopping the return of the evil Geldra organization.

Look forward to even more retro games next year.
