Lost Planet Actor in GI Joe Film

The official Capcom blog reports that Korean actor turned Japanese TV star Byun-hung Lee, whose likeness was used in Lost Planet: Extreme Conditions, has been casted in the upcoming G.I. Joe film to play Storm Shadow, the white/bad ninja from the Cobra side. The film is expected sometime in 2009.
The upcoming film has had its script written by Stuart Beattie, who is also the scribe for the film adaptation of the anticipated Gears of War movie. It is being directed by Stephen Sommers, whose past credits include The Mummy and its sequel, Scorpion King and Van Helsing.
