After various battles you’ll be rewarded with coins for your hard work and mad skills. As in the previous game these are used to win you trophies. In the previous iteration of the franchise you just stuck your coins into a prize dispensing machine and crossed your fingers. This time they’ve put the ability to snag sweet swag in your hands. The ‘Coin Launcher’ minigame puts you at the controls of a coin-shooting gun that looks straight out of Starfox. You tilt the Wiimote side to side to aim and push a button to fire. What do you fire? If you haven’t figured that out by now, you haven’t been paying attention. You shoot out coins of course! You’ll be blasting formations of enemies to get stickers and bonus items. Trophies will appear for a brief time and move around so you’ll have to act fast to shoot them. Watch out for missiles which will rob you of precious coins if you don’t shoot them down.
