Loved the art style in Wik: Fable of Souls? Reflexive has released The Great Tree, a new game that is drawn and painted by the same artist. The game tells the story of a world filled with both magic and mystery. Players are thrust into a tale of good and evil with the survival of the whole world thrown into their hands.

The player takes on the role of one of the Wren selected to collect pollen. Using magical powers and “agile” movements, players have to avoid enemies and save the world. It features over 100 levels and various cinematics.

“Watching a mushroom that you thought was just a pretty picture in the background open its eyes, change its expression and then open its mouth to try to eat you is just one of many amazing moments in this game that will startle, surprise and in the end simply amaze you,” said Ion Hardie, Director of Product Development. “It contains moments that are as unique and enjoyable as anything I’ve ever seen in any game.”

The game’s site is already live, offering media and further information.
