After a good week of poor or non functioning service, the Xbox Live team has confirmed that everything is back up and running the way it should be. Likely due in part to a surge of users during the Christmas holidays, surely the service peaked more than ever before. Although there may have been other contributing factors, and Major Nelson mentioned bigger pipes would not just fix the problems.
It’s good to see the service is back and fully functional, as it was quite annoying trying to get anything achieved with it this last week, even when it was “working”. No word yet on any sort of refund or gift Microsoft might send out, but hopefully some small repayment does come around shortly to make everyone a little bit happier.
